Why Did I Name My RSS Reader Sushi?
“Conveyor-belt sushi“ as a metaphor for River-of-news style is what I was thinking about.
Announcing SushiReader version 1.0.0
The very first version of SushiReader is now ready for your download.
SushiReader is a simple RSS reader that is designed for the busy news junkies. You can prioritize your subscriptions, so that news stories that are important are sorted to the front of the queue, and you will be able read these stories earlier.
Furthermore, you can specify keywords at different priority levels. Stories containing higher-priority keywords will be sorted ahead in the queue for you to read earlier.
SushiReader is a simple river-of-news style RSS reader that you can add to your new-reading tool set, so that you can be more effective and efficient in getting the news you want.
SushiReader’s homepage is at http://www.myapplemenu.com/sushireader/. This version of SushiReader requires Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), and is available free.
If you have any questions or feedback, I can be contacted by e-mail at sushireader@myapplemenu.com, or by Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/sushireader/.
I hope you’ll find SushiReader useful.
